H&R Sport Lowering Springs — 6th Gen Camaro SS V8 (2016-2023)

H&R's Sport springs for the 6th Gen Camaro SS drop the car approximately 1.2 inches front and rear. H&R is a German spring manufacturer with decades of OEM and performance spring engineering. Available in two body style-specific part numbers — Coupe and Convertible are NOT interchangeable.

Coupe (28729-2)
For SS Coupe only. Does NOT fit Convertible, 1LE, or ZL1 1LE.

Convertible (28729-1)
The Convertible's open chassis requires different spring tuning than the Coupe. Engineered separately by H&R to achieve the same drop correctly for the Convertible's unique suspension dynamics. Does NOT fit Coupe, 1LE, or ZL1 1LE.

Performance Expectations
The 1.2-inch drop is well-balanced — dramatically improved stance without bottoming out on road irregularities. Progressive rate design provides better bump compliance than straight-rate springs. Verify Magnetic Ride Control compatibility with H&R before purchasing. Note: fitment confirmed through 2023 — verify 2024 applicability with H&R. A professional alignment is required after installation.
